Con solo apretar un botón, verás como tu ventana se desliza convirtiéndose en ese soñado balcón. Este original dispositivo se puede instalar tanto en viviendas de nueva construcción como en aquellas ya existentes. Su tamaño, material y color pueden ser personalizados para cada cliente.
With the Bloomframe, the push of a button can transform your living space from interior to exterior. The winner of a 2008 Red Dot Design Award, Bloomframe, by designers Hofman Dujardin Architects, will be available to buy sometime early this year. Designs can be customized and made to order. Flexibility is a buzzword in modern and sustainable design and Bloomframe provides an excellent design option for architects in high-density residential design. Architects will be interested in the ever changing nature of a facade. Owners will enjoy the fresh air and light without the cost of a balcony.

Casas Lago en Buenos Aires es el primer proyecto de los arquitectos argentinos Adamo-Faiden. Los arquitectos describen el edificio, que fue terminado el año pasado, como “dos pequeñas y económicas casas en un típico barrio de Buenos Aires”.
Casas Lago in Buenos Aires is the first built project from young Argentinian architects Adamo-Faiden. The architects describe the building, which was completed last year, as “two very small and economic houses in a typical neighbourhood of Buenos Aires”.

El theANEMIX es un concepto inspirado en bioluminescence, un fenómeno natural de la iluminación que ocurra en la profundidad del mar, donde un ciertas especies producen la luz para sobrevivir en el ambiente lightless y hostil. Creado por dos diseñadores jóvenes Ximena Muñoz y Paulina Villalobos, theAnemix de la iluminaciónel diseño crea una atmósfera unmistakably amorfa de la iluminación. Puede ser uso en usos ilimitados de las oficinas, residenciales, y probablemente lo más aplicable posible del ambiente del club. Y el discurso del ambiente, estas instalaciones de iluminación tiene efectos muy bajos en el ambiente con el uso de los LED.
El theANEMIX is a lighting concept inspired in bioluminescence, a natural phenomenon which takes place in the sea depth, where some species produce light in order to survive in the lightless and hostile environment. Created by two young lighting designers Ximena Muñoz and Paulina Villalobos, theAnemix design creates an unmistakably amorphous lighting atmosphere. It can be use in limitless applications from offices, residential, and probably most applicably the club environment. And speaking of environment, these lighting installations have very low effects on the environment through use of LEDs.

Meetings in an egg, the office is organized in very austere cubículos but they are skipped of common places where to be able to meet or to maintain a telephone conversation in private. The eggs are only a model of these rooms of meetings, that are distributed by all the building.

La compañía ofrece un servicio de masajes a los que dedica un espacio propio. Esta vez, los empleados tienen que pagar el servicio, pero sólo una pequeña parte. El día que cumplen años corre a cargo de la casa.
The company offers a service of massages to which it dedicates an own space. This time, the employees must pay the service, but only one small part. The day that turns years is the responsibility of the house.

The East Beach Cafe diseñado por el creativo británico Thomas Heatherwick’s esta ubicado en el pequeño pueblo de Littlehampton y responde al concepto de “bar container”. Thomas Heatherwick es un excelente diseñador británico que desarrollo conceptos de toda índole… desde bolsos de mano, interiores de locales comerciales hasta puentes.
Para el proyecto East Beach Cafe se produjo una interesante unión entre el diseñador y el cliente; una mujer que compro un viejo cafe que estaba cerrado con la idea de hacer algo innovador. Ella comento:”la vista de mi casa da a la playa este y por eso quiero salvar este viejo espacio”.
El efecto que produce esta genial arquitectura (conocido como “Efecto Bilbao”) esta teniendo mucho éxito en Littlehampton, donde una multitud de personas recurren a conocer y comer pescado en este extraordinario cafe de playa.
Thomas Heatherwick’s was the responsible in the East Beach Cafe design. The East Beach Cafe, situated in the small seaside town of Littlehampton, is another hot contender for the Brit Insurance Design Awards.
Thomas Heatherwick is the great British design star of the last decade, pushing forward concepts of what design can be on all fronts, from handbags and shop interiors to bridges. For the East Beach Cafe, as with many iconic creative works, it was the happy union of designer and client that helped realize the project. It is often the foresight of a open-minded client that creates great opportunity and in this case it was Littlehampton resident Jane Wood. She bought the site after the old beach cafe closed down and, appalled by the proposal for a new unsightly cafe, she moved to stop it. She said of her impetuous decision, “My house looked out on to East Beach. I felt I had to save this very special place and so I did a crazy thing and bought the business.” The transformative effect of great architecture (otherwise known as the “Bilbao effect”) is taking hold in Littlehampton, where the masses are making the pilgrimage to eat fish and chips in the extraordinary East Beach Cafe.

The company Serie, made the Blue Frog acoustic Lounge, Mumbai. A large north lit industrial warehouse within the old mill district in Mumbai is to be converted into a complex of sound recording studios and an acoustic lounge. This lounge will consist of a restaurant, bar and a live stage. Beyond this amalgamation of provisions, Blue Frog seeks to stage an acoustic experience par excellence.

El lunes, vimos en la pagina para alquilar departamentos Veronika and Sebastian’s esta espectacular forma de organizar y ahorrar espacio en las escaleras. La idea fue del estudio de arquitectura Levitate Architects.
On Monday, we visited Veronika and Sebastian’s rental apartment, with its amazing book-lined staircase. The idea came from Levitate Architects.
En el Valle de Calamuchita (Córdoba - Argentina), entre las sierras se encuentra esta “preciosura” de casa. La casa es un pabellón de vidrio transparente con eje norte sur paralelo al valle como alusión cultural al hecho natural. La caja de vidrio, entre cuatro piedras que alojan los servicios, consta con un espacio fluido en su interior.
Por razones climáticas de fríos invernales y noches frescas, por la altitud del lugar, la caja de vidrio está envuelta en una caja de madera. Esta caja de hojas plegadizas y corredizas permite generar mayores o menores aberturas proveyendo variables dimensiones y sensaciones de intimidad e interioridad. Esta unidad se completa y complementa con una torre de estudio-dormitorio y mirador que alude al eje vertical de la montaña.
Una escalera vidriada provee visiones diversas del bosque posterior. Llegamos a la terraza “mirador”, que permite como en cada nivel, amplias vistas hacia el Valle. Este actúa como jardín y como patio que completa la casa, además, sobre la pendiente del valle se encuentra localizada la pileta.
The Valley of Calamuchita is a calm landscape of fields cultivated between two parallel mountain ranges. The fields lie east to west between the skirts of the great mountain ranges and the skirts of the small mountain ranges. The fields for a tapestry between mountain walls and in the case of my field, between rows of trees. The house is elevated on the hill with a smooth slope that falls towards the Valley.
The house is a transparent glass pavilion with the North - South axis parallel to the valley like a cultural reference to the natural fact. The glass box, between four stones that enclose the services, is a space fluid in its unitary interior sometimes dining sometimes an additional sleeping area. For climatic reasons of cold winters and fresh nights, and the altitude of the place, the glass box this surrounded in a wood box. This box of sliding shutters allows small or large openings providing variable dimensions and sensations of privacy or openness.
This unit completes and complements with a tower of study, bedrooms and viewing platform, that alludes to the vertical axis of the mountain. A glass enclosed stairwell spirals around the outside of the building, allowing all 4 aspects of the surroundings to be taken in as one passes from level to level. At the top you arrive at the terrace viewpoint that allows, like in each level, extended lines of vision towards the Valley. By day the living area, surrounded by the service blocks, mimics the valley, at night the tower recreates the mountain. At night I escape to the safety of the mountain tower, returning at dawn to the living area and valley.
